Farrall’s Group are a third-generation family business, established in 1956 by Edwin C. Farrall and his wife Joan. From humble beginnings with one truck driven by Eddie and Joan managing the accounts, under their direction the company evolved into a fleet with employed drivers. After 37 years Eddie and Joan passed the torch to their sons Mike & Mark who were joined by Mike’s wife, Elaine, and the company continued to thrive, making strategic decisions including joining the Transport Association, becoming founding members of Palletforce, additional warehousing & depot purchases and the launch of FF&W, a joint venture with fellow haulier Fagan & Whalley offering dynamic 4pl services. 2008 saw the legacy continued by third Generation as Mike’s son Matthew joined the business, followed by his sister Katherine in 2011, Matthew is now the Managing Director and Katharine the Finance Director, with Mike and Elaine both Board Members. The company currently has a fleet of over 80 vehicles and has shown impressive growth and stability in the face of challenging times.
