Farrall’s Group Add Transport Association’s 70th Anniversary Trailer to Fleet While Supporting Air Ambulance.

We’re proud to share the latest addition to our fleet – a trailer purchased at a very special event with an even greater purpose. This new trailer was acquired during the Transport Association 70th anniversary weekend, and it’s a purchase that carries much more than freight – it carries meaning, mission, and impact.

What Is the Transport Association and Why Does It Matter?

The Transport Association is a trusted network of independent haulage companies across the UK. For over 70 years, it has brought together like-minded logistics operators, promoting collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence. Membership of the Transport Association gives hauliers access to a wealth of shared knowledge, support, and best practices.

Celebrating 70 Years of the Transport Association

This year marked a major milestone, 70 years of the Transport Association supporting the UK haulage industry. To celebrate, members gathered for a special weekend at Silverstone filled with events, networking, and fundraising.

The highlight? A charity auction to raise money for the Air Ambulance – a vital service that delivers life-saving emergency medical care where it’s needed most. Every mission carried out by the Air Ambulance costs around £4,000, and the auction raised an incredible £25,000 – enough to fund six emergency missions.

A Trailer That Gives Back

We were proud to successfully bid on a brand-new trailer during the auction. While it’s a practical and valuable addition to our fleet, the real impact is the support it provides to the Air Ambulance charity. This trailer symbolises how transport businesses can give back to the communities we serve and support those who support us in return.
